The Early Childhood Centers of Wilshire Boulevard Temple are places where the youngest learners discover who they are, where they belong, and how they connect to the world around them.Rooted in Jewish values and designed for the unique needs of children from infancy through age five, our ECCs offer a nurturing, joyful, and meaningful early childhood experience.

Young children are natural explorers. They ask questions, try new things, and make meaning through play. Our role is to create an environment that supports growth, one that is safe, inspiring, and filled with people who care deeply. Here, every child is seen as capable, competent, and worthy.

Through song, storytelling, celebration, and acts of kindness, children begin to feel what it means to belong to something sacred and shared.

Shabbat becomes a moment to slow down and give thanks. Holidays become family memories. Values like generosity and empathy become part of everyday life.

  • Celebrate Jewish holidays and traditions in hands-on, age-appropriate ways
  • Learn Hebrew words and songs that bring Jewish life into the classroom
  • Practice tzedakah (charitable giving) and tikkun olam (repairing the world)
