You do not have to be a member of the Temple to take Baby & Me classes, but you do need to join to send your child to Nursery School.

All children must be healthy to remain at school. If your child is sick, please keep him/her home. Children need to be fever free for 24 hours without the aid of medication before returning. Depending on the illness, a note from your pediatrician may be required in order for your child to return.

We take allergies and other health issues very seriously. For example, if your child is allergic to peanuts, his or her whole class will become peanut-free. We communicate with the teachers and parents to apprise them of the situation and we do everything we can for you and your child, to ensure your child’s health and safety.

Yes. All children must have current immunizations to attend both Baby & Me classes and the Nursery School.

We use conflict resolution to work through any conflicts or behavioral challenges that may arise. We do not use “time outs” at school.

No. When your child becomes interested in toilet training, our teachers and directors will work with you to help support your child through this process.

Classes are for babies and toddlers from birth to 2 ½ years old. 

For our discussion-based classes, we require a parent or relative to attend with your child. For our art, sensory, and music classes, we welcome caregivers or a family member. We offer toddler transition classes where parents can leave when the children are ready.

Our classes run from September-February and February-July. Due to enrollments with availability, some classes do take new students at any time during the semester. Please contact the office for further information on class availability mid-semester.

We offer pre-arranged make-up classes. If your child’s nap changes and space permits, we will do our best to accommodate a new classroom time.

One parent must be Jewish in order to attend our schools. We welcome interfaith and mixed marriages.

Yes. Early morning drop off begins at 7:45 a.m. at both of our campuses.

Yes. We offer enrichment until 2:30 p.m. at both sites. We also offer extended day until 2:30 p.m., "3:30 Club" until 3:30 p.m. and "super" extended day until 5:00 p.m. at both sites.  *There is an extra cost for enrichment and/or extended day programs*.

Yes. We welcome our parents and caregivers into our school.

We work with children to make a comfortable transition from home to school. Separation is a process, not a problem. Each child is allowed to separate at his or her own pace.

Nutritious hot lunch and snacks are included in tuition. Our farm-to-table food has no GMO’s and is hormone free. Kosher options are available, and we accommodate for allergies.

All children must be signed in and signed out by an adult over 18 years of age with a full legible signature.

Our ratios are excellent and surpass all licensing requirements. Ratio may vary depending on the age range of the children in the classroom.

Children play outside at least 45 minutes per day for those who stay from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. If children stay for full day, they play outside twice a day, or three times for those who stay for super extended stay.

Napping in our school is an option for children who nap. For non-nappers, we offer a quiet time where children will do yoga and learn to rest their bodies.

Education is important to our school. Our faculty goes above and beyond the qualifications for the state of CA. All of our teachers have childcare permits; most have at least a bachelor’s degree, and many have their master’s degree.

We start children as early as 18 months at both of our campuses.
