At Wilshire Boulevard Temple Early Childhood Centers, every day feels alive with discovery.

Children arrive eager to explore. Parents linger to share a moment of belonging. Teachers greet each family by name. From the first morning drop-off to Friday’s Shabbat songs, life here is filled with warmth, laughter, and growth.

 

Where Families Belong

Our ECCs are communities where families feel at home. Parents are welcomed into the experience of daily life, whether walking children into class, joining a music circle, or celebrating holidays together. Friendships deepen through class coffees, socials, and volunteer opportunities that make participation easy and fun.

 

Grounded in Temple Life

Each ECC is part of the larger Wilshire Boulevard Temple family, giving students and parents a sense of belonging that reaches beyond the classroom. Jewish values guide our days; gratitude, kindness, and connection infuse everything we do. Families experience these traditions together through Shabbat, holidays, and community-wide gatherings that celebrate learning, faith, and togetherness.

Light-filled classrooms, flexible indoor-outdoor spaces, and expansive play yards invite curiosity and creativity. From the art studio to the garden, every environment is designed for hands-on exploration and joyful expression. Our students learn through doing, experimenting, imagining, and discovering their world.

Parents as Partners

We see parents as our partners in growth. They’re encouraged to share ideas, volunteer, and model the values we teach: care, curiosity, and community. Whether lending a hand at a class project, helping plan a service event, or being present at Shabbat, fully engaged families strengthen the sense of belonging that defines the ECC experience.

Grandparents and Extended Family

Grandparents, relatives, and special friends are woven into ECC life, joining celebrations, cheering on milestones, and helping nurture a deep sense of L'Dor V'Dor - the passing of values, traditions, and love from one generation to the next.  Their presence reminds students that they’re surrounded by care, connection, and history.
